NBA Conference Finals Predictions

First Round Record: (5-3)

Conference Semi-Finals Record (2-2)

NBA Conference Finals Predictions

Western Conference Finals

Phoenix Suns Vs Los Angeles Clippers

The Suns have been the best team in the Western Conference this season from start to finish, so it’s really no surprise to see them playing in the Conference Finals. At this current point in time we have no idea whether or not Chris Paul will be playing in the first game or at all in this series since he is out due to COVID protocols. Regardless I still believe the Suns are the better team in this matchup. They definitely need Chris Paul because he has completely turned this team around, but there is enough talent on this team to beat the Clippers. I don’t believe in the Clippers at all because they’re the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard is also injured and his status is in doubt for this series and they will need him if they want to even have a chance in this series. Even with him they really aren’t an impressive team. They lack chemistry and lose steam towards the end of games, which is going to be a huge problem against the Suns who have the exact opposite problem! I haven’t believed in the Clippers once this entire season and that won’t change in this series. The Suns are a far superior team and the Clippers are a joke to me and until they prove otherwise that is what they will always be!

Eastern Conference Finals

Milwaukee Bucks Vs Atlanta Hawks

Never in a million years did I expect to see the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals, but here they are, ready to take any team they go up against! Trae Young just can’t be stopped and is starting to look like Steph Curry when he first hit the scene. Young is a sharp shooter, with the will to win it all and literally gives no fucks while doing it. The Bucks are such a weird team. The way they’ve played in the postseason, so far, has been exceptionally mediocre, but some how they still win! Charles Barkley put it best, this is the dumbest winning team in the playoffs right now. When they play it looks like for parts of the game they have no idea what in the actual fuck is going on, but then out of nowhere they may just start knocking down some shots and then out of nowhere the Bucks walk away with the win. While the Hawks have faced off against some really solid teams on defense this postseason, the Bucks are on another level simply because they are healthy, the roster is deep, and the team has chemistry. The Hawks have had a great run, but it’s going to come to an end at some point and I think this will be where it ends. The Bucks will be too much for the Hawks to handle in a seven game series and I expect to see the Bucks move on to the NBA Finals.

NBA Conference Semi-Finals Playoff Predictions

First Round Record: (5-3)

NBA Conference Semi-Finals Playoff Predictions

Western Conference

Utah Jazz Vs Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers are not an impressive team on any level this season. They do not mesh together well on the court and it shows. They barely got by the Mavericks in the first round and that only happened because the Mavericks don’t have anybody else besides Doncic. Kawhi has been solid in the playoffs like he usually is, but the rest of the team has no idea what is going on. The Jazz have been one of the most dominant teams in the league and are going to be a tough test for the Clippers because they do not matchup well in the paint, and they have absolutely no one who can go up against Rudy Gobert. I really don’t think this is going to be much of a series because the Clippers are not a good team and the Jazz are rolling right now, and it’s going to take a much better opponent to knock them out at this point. The Clippers are always a let down come playoff time and I don’t see that changing this year!

Phoenix Suns Vs Denver Nuggets

The Suns are on a tear this season and any team that faces them up to this point better bring all that they’ve got to this series because the Suns ain’t playing around! Chris Paul has been a great leader on the court, but Devin Booker is on fire and is pretty much unstoppable at this point. Denver played a solid series in the first round and Nikola Jokic played great, but you didn’t hear much about it because he plays for the Nuggets! Jokic is going to be a tough test for the Suns because they don’t have anybody who matches up well against him, but if they are able to prevent the rest of the Nuggets from scoring, then I believe the Nuggets will have problems trying to keep on offense. Right now, the Suns are playing the best basketball in the league because they are cohesive on the court and don’t have as many issues with injuries like the rest of the league, but even so, this team is legit and are going to be a tough opponent for the Nuggets in this series. I believe the Suns have the edge in this matchup because offensively they will be too much for the Nuggets. The Sun are a deep squad with a lot of talent and Devin Booker is peaking at the right time for a deep playoff run!

Eastern Conference

Philadelphia 76ers Vs Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks put up a good fight against the Knicks, but the 76ers will be a different kind of a beast in this round! Trae Young is a baller for sure and is the future of the league, but Joel Embiid is the here and now, and he has had a phenomenal season. He did suffer a knee injury in the first round, but it sounds like this shouldn’t sideline him for long. Even if he does miss a game or, even the entire series, the 76ers have a bunch of talent on this team and are stacked from top to bottom and should have no problem moving onto the Conference Finals!

Brooklyn Nets Vs Milwaukee Bucks

This right here is going to be one hell of a matchup and I am so looking forward to it! Neither team was really put to the test in the first round and breezed on by, but it will be a different story this time around. These two teams are polar opposites of each other. The Nets are all about offense with three of the most versatile scorers in the league with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden. While the Bucks are driven by defense and taking care of business in the paint. Everybody is riding high on the Nets right now because of the offensive firepower, but it’s going to be interesting to see how they handle the physicality of the Bucks for an entire series. They have nobody who matches up well against Giannis and the Bucks have enough going on offensively where they should be able to keep up at a steady pace, while also getting some stops on the defensive end. This is going to be a close series, but I believe the Bucks have the edge in this one because of their defense.
