College Football Semifinal Predictions

Oklahoma Vs Clemson

I don’t know how they do it, but some how The Oklahoma Sooners always seem to work their way into the big time Bowl Games. I’m not saying that the Sooners didn’t win some big games this season, but come on…we all know what happens to the Sooners over the years when they get into the Bowl Games that matter! During the Bob Stoops Era the Sooners have been able to dominate during the regular season, but as soon as they get to that Bowl game they crumble and turn to shit! So needless to say I am looking forward to this matchup since I cannot stand the period stain that is the Oklahoma Sooners! The Clemson Tigers have remained a dominant team throughout the regular season, holding onto that number one spot for multiple weeks now. Clemson comes into this game with an electric offense that can score at any time led by the quarterback Deshaun Watson who has thrown for 30 TD’s, ran for 11 TD’s (that’s one more than the starting running back for Clemson this season) and only 11 INT’s. He plays smart football which is why he has a minimal amount of turnovers and he is a big time play maker when the game is on the line. The biggest weakness for the Tigers is their lack of depth on defense. The reason why they have had some close calls this season is because the defense tends to get tired towards the end of the game. Overall I think Clemson is the better team on both sides of the ball and I have a feeling this game will end up being an offensive shoot out and if that’s the case I’m taking Clemson all day!

Michigan St. Vs Alabama

I do not have high hopes that this is going to be a competitive matchup to watch because Alabama is a stacked team! They are always stacked, but once again Alabama has completely dominated College Football. Michigan State has had a good season, but I’ve never really considered them much of a contender. Overall they have a good team, but they have been way too inconsistent for me to think they even have a shot against Alabama. The Michigan State defense is good, but they are going to have their hands full trying to defend the Heisman Trophy running back Derrick Henry and I’m not quite sure they have the offensive fire power to keep up if this turns into a shootout. I’d love to see the upset here, but Alabama is just too good for me to pick against them right now.
