NBA Finals Prediction

Miami Heat Vs Denver Nuggets

Raise your hand if you picked the Miami Heat to win the Eastern Conference when the playoffs began…yeah, I’m pretty sure no one did. Not even Heat fans. Oh, I’m sure they believed this could happen, but that’s what fans are supposed to do! The Heat are the lowest seed ever to make it to the NBA Finals and they beat up a lot of good teams along the way. Jimmy Butler has been cold throughout the playoffs and has carried this team, but the role players have stepped up when they needed them in the crucial moments. The Nuggets have been the top team all season! Nikola Jokic is a beast, the triple double king, and cannot not be stopped! He has made some of the craziest shots throughout the playoffs, even when he’s double teamed he just keeps it moving and will truck through the paint and still make the shot. He’s made it look easy all season and my concern with this team was would anybody else step up to the plate and Jamal Murray has been the answer! Murray has been one of the most consistent players in the playoffs up to this point, and even though, he plays alongside Jokic he stands out all on his own and has made the big plays! The Nuggets are the complete package when it comes to a Championship team. They have the MVP star in Jokic, they have solid role players, a deep bench, they play defense, and the coach has them ready to play for each and every game. The Heat have made a solid playoff run, but have been way too inconsistent, especially in their losses. The Heat will make this a good series, but the Denver Nuggets will be walking away with their first ever NBA Championship!

NBA Conference Finals Predictions

Western Conference Finals

Los Angeles Lakers Vs Denver Nuggets

As a Lakers fan, I cannot believe this team has made it this far. We started the season 2-10, literally backed into the playoffs, and here we are, in the Western Conference Finals. This will be no easy task because the Nuggets have been the best team in the league all season and have one of the most dominant players in the game, Nicola Jokic. I wasn’t really sold on the Nuggets at any point this season because they are too heavy on one player, but so far, Jamal Murray has been his right hand man, and the rest of the role players have stepped it up when called upon. The Lakers have not convinced me that they are a Championship contender because even though they beat some solid teams to get here, it was mostly due to the opponent not playing to the highest level. The Lakers were up and down in just about every game and you can’t play that inconsistent type of basketball against a good team like the Nuggets. I’m still not sure if the Nuggets are going to win it all, but I do feel they have enough to beat the Lakers and move onto the NBA Finals!

Eastern Conference Finals

Miami Heat Vs Boston Celtics

The Heat, just like the Lakers, really shouldn’t be here. They had an up and down season, barely made the playoffs, and then went off! Jimmy Butler has had a great postseason and carried this team alongside Bam Adebayo. The Celtics felt like they were just treading water throughout the playoffs, up until game 6 against the 76ers. In that game Tatum took over the fourth quarter to push the series back to Boston for a game 7 and then had the performance of a lifetime with 51 points and an easy win to move onto the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics look like a confident group once again and they’ve been here before. The Heat should make this a competitive series, but overall the Celtics are a far superior team compared to the Heat and I feel like the Celtics are ready to go and make another run at a Championship.
