Super Bowl LI Prediction

Atlanta Falcons Vs New England Patriots

Goodie fucking gum drops another Super Bowl with the New England Patriots! I can’t stress to you how sick and tired I am of the Patriots and their winning ways! Can’t anybody stop them?! This is what happens when you piss the Patriots off, you go and suspend Tom Brady for the first four games of the season and it turns into the middle finger tour as soon as he gets back. In all seriousness I do respect the Patriots because you can’t have their kind of dominance without working hard, no matter how many of you cry about “cheating.” The way Tom Brady continues to play at such a high level at his age is amazing, no quarterback in NFL history has been as dominant as him at this late in their career so the Falcons defense better watch out.

The Falcons have played some great football this season as well, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Matt Ryan is having the best season of his career thus far and has the chance to cap it off with a Super Bowl Championship. He has no shortage of weapons to choose from, they have probably the deepest offense from starter to bench when it comes to receivers and running backs. You can’t forget that they have one of the top five receivers in the game, Julio Jones who has been battling through injuries, but has still managed to make an impact in the playoffs. The defense has been a big surprise and I think they are just the type of defense to be able to contain Tom Brady. Getting at the quarterback is what they do best and that is the number one way you can beat the Patriots, or really the only way to even have a chance at beating the Patriots.

On paper the Falcons are the better team in this matchup, but their opponent is the New England Patriots. Bill Belichick has had two weeks to prepare to figure out what makes the Falcons tick and what players need to be eliminated, and like I said before Tom Brady is playing pissed off, he’s going to be tough to stop for any team. The Falcons have a history of choking hard when it matters the most and I’ve said it many times in the past and will continue to say it until the day I die, until you prove you can win in the big moments I cannot pick you in the big moments. If the Falcons want to erase that title they need to prove it and I’d love to see them do so, but I can’t pick against Tom Brady or Bill Belichick at this point in the season because unlike the Falcons they have proven they can win when it matters the most!

Patriots over Falcons 28-24

MVP: Tom Brady
