NFL Conference Championship Predictions

NFC

San Francisco 49ers Vs Philadelphia Eagles

These two teams were obviously the best teams in the NFC so it’s no surprise that this is where they ended up. The 49ers have the top defense in the league, but the Eagles defense is just as powerful. The Eagles defense led the league in turnovers and have no issues getting at the quarterback. Offensively, the Eagles have the best ground attack in the league because not only do they have two solid running backs, but Jalen Hurts is just an added level of stress for any opposing defense on the ground and through the air. The 49ers have a ton of weapons offensively, but Brock Purdy was exposed last week and I feel like it’s only going to get worse this week. The Eagles really haven’t had a bad game all season and I feel like they really made a statement last week against the Giants just to let everyone know they are still here. The Eagles have been more consistent and I feel like we’re going to see the rookie come out of Brock Purdy and the Eagles will take advantage of the few mistakes made and move onto the Super Bowl.

AFC

Cincinnati Bengals Vs Kansas City Chiefs

Well, here we go again! Bengals versus Chiefs in the AFC Championship game for the second year in a row. Last year’s game was insane and I imagine this one will be equally as insane! Joe Burrow and the Bengals OWN the Chiefs and with the confidence that this team is playing with right now, there is a good chance that will continue. The Bengals have been the hottest team in football and have carried that on into the postseason. Offensively, there really isn’t anything they can’t do, and even with an awful offensive line they still shine, on the ground and through the air. The defense has been a quiet assassin the past couple of seasons and has stepped up in the key moments to make game changing plays. The Chiefs have had, yet another, phenomenal season led by Patrick Mahomes, but he sprained his ankle in the previous game and that could be the difference in this one. The Chiefs defense has been known to give up some big plays in the secondary and this is not the team to make that mistake against. I think Joe Burrow is going to light up the secondary and the defense will contain Mahomes, the best they can, and I think the Bengals will continue their dominance of the Chiefs and move onto the Super Bowl!

Bengals over Chiefs 28-27
