NFC West

Arizona Cardinals (11-5)

The Cardinals are another one of those teams that are difficult to predict from season to season because they are so inconsistent! They do benefit from being stuck in one of the worst divisions’ in the league, so they shouldn’t have a problem getting some wins! On offense, for the most part, they are fairly consistent. Carson Palmer is a solid QB, when healthy, Larry Fitzgerald is still one of the best receivers in the game, and David Johnson is one of the best duel threat running backs in the league. The defense isn’t bad, they have some great players like Patrick Peterson, but the rest of the defense is pretty questionable. I expect the Cardinals to be a competitive team, but we’ll see what happens come playoff time because we all know choking is what they do best!

Seattle Seahawks (9-7)

The Seahawks seem to have a problem with comradery on their team, which is never a good thing going into a season. The Seahawks were fairly mediocre last year and have had plenty of ups and downs, which all seemed to stem from internal fighting. That continued throughout the offseason and seems to have rolled on into this year. The Seahawks still have an amazing defense, but on offense there isn’t much else beyond Russell Wilson, and while he has proven he can carry a team, he really doesn’t have anyone else to help him out on the offensive side of the ball. The Seahawks receiving is exceptionally mediocre, the ground game is garbage, and the offensive line is deteriorating, so all in all I’m not expecting a whole lot from this team!

Los Angeles Rams (5-10)

The Rams are garbage and should be happy that I’m spotting them five wins this season because I’m sure they won’t even make that!

San Francisco 49ers (2-12)

The 49ers are one of the most awful teams coming into this season. I mean seriously there is almost nothing positive you can say about this team on offense or defense! They are in rebuild mode, so if anything at least they will get a top five draft pick in 2018!

AFC West

Oakland Raiders (12-4)

The Raiders are fucking stacked as a team! On offense they were already lights out and then they go and make a trade for Marshawn Lynch. Sure, he took a year off, but I’m still betting he’s got some gas in the tank to help this team out. Lynch won’t be the focal point of the offense like he was in Seattle, he is more of a compliment to the Raiders offense. Derek Carr is the leader of this squad and I think will have an MVP type of season. The defense is a silent killer and I believe will be one of the best in the league. The Raiders are definitely a team everyone will have to keep their eye on!

Kansas City Chiefs (8-8)

Overall the Chiefs are an exceptionally boring ass team and that’s not a shock since Alex Smith is still the starting quarterback. He’s a decent quarterback, but I’ve never believed he would ever lead his team to anything besides mediocrity! I have a feeling he is close to losing his job to the new draft pick Patrick Mahomes and that will probably cost the team a few wins in a tough conference!

Los Angeles Chargers (6-10)

The Chargers will still be just as mediocre in L.A. as they were in San Diego!

Denver Broncos (5-11)

The Broncos have grown progressively worse as a team since they won the Super Bowl and I believe that will continue on into this year. On defense they’re still solid, but on offense, they are still as horrible as ever! The quarterback position has always been up in the air and will probably be a mystery every single Sunday! I have a feeling this will be a long season for Broncos fans!

NFC South

Carolina Panthers (10-6)

The Panthers are coming into this season under the radar because last season was so horrible. I believe they are happy with that role and it will help them focus on winning rather than having to defend themselves while in the spotlight. The defense is still as solid as a rock and I expect them to stomp every opponent they face into the ground. On offense they added Christian McCaffrey at running back to give Cam Newton some much needed relief on the ground. Newton has been the teams’ leading rusher just about every season and that is a problem! It’s nice to have a quarterback who can run, but he should never lead the team in rushing! With an energized ground game this should open up the passing attack and make the Panthers a much stronger force on the offensive side of the ball.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-6)

The Bucs are a team on the rise who made some slight adjustments over the offseason that I believe will pay off this season! The biggest addition they made was on offense by adding a solid weapon at wide receiver in DeSean Jackson. He has had some issues with injuries, but if he can stay healthy he and Jameis Winston should make a nasty combo! The defense is solid as a rock up on the line, they should have every quarterback they face running for days!

Atlanta Falcons (9-7)

The most consistent thing the Falcons have done throughout their history is be inconsistent, and since they blew their wad in the Super Bowl last season I anticipate they will have a shitty season this year! It’s going to be a battle in this division and we are all fully aware the Falcons are terrible at trying to overcome any type of adversity…ask Tom Brady about that! (Haha!). The Super Bowl hang over will be felt all throughout Atlanta and they will be stinking up that brand new stadium of theirs!

New Orleans Saints (8-8)

The Saints are old and hobbled, and eventually Drew Brees won’t even be able to save them! The defense is total garbage and on offense they added Adrian Peterson, but who knows what they are actually going to get with that guy? Peterson has had injury issues and we’ve already seen how well (sarcasm) the Saints medical staff is at taking care of their players! To top it off this is one of the best divisions’ in the league and every game is at stake!

AFC South

Tennessee Titans (10-6)

The Titans are my surprise team for the upcoming season. I believe this team is finally ready to make a run at this mediocre division! The Titans are a strong, young team, who played really well last season, but were held back due to some serious injuries to key players. Marcus Mariota has shown improvement every season since he has come into the league and while his season was cut short due to injuries last year, this year I believe he will elevate his game and take the league by surprise. Demarco Murray in the backfield will be a huge help and don’t be shocked if he comes out and leads the league in rushing. The foundation the Titans have built over the past couple of seasons is growing stronger and this will be the year the rest of the league takes notice.

Houston Texans (9-7)

Ladies and gentleman I think the Texans have finally found themselves a decent quarterback! They drafted Deshaun Watson in this past draft and so far in the preseason he has shown quite a bit of promise. I’m sure he will suffer from the rookie growing pains throughout this season, but I think this guy is definitely the future of the franchise! In the present though, I believe the Texans will struggle this season as they still have not found their identity under Coach Bill O’Brien. Combine that with a rookie QB, the Texans are bound to have a roller coaster of a season!

Indianapolis Colts (6-10)

The Colts have no idea where they are going as a team? This has been the case for about three seasons now and this injury to Andrew Luck makes their season look all the more murky. It’s going to be one LONG season for the Colts!

Jacksonville Jaguars (3-13)

Get ready for the season of the rotating quarterback in Jacksonville! It’s already begun and I can tell it will be the problem that continues to bite the Jags in the ass until it can actually be addressed! The Jaguars have only one positive thing I can say about their team going into this season, and that is that Leonard Fournette is definitely the future of the NFL. I’m excited to see where this guys’ career ends up, he could be a rookie of the year candidate. The problem is he plays for the Jaguars one of the worst teams in the league with an atrocious offense that will give him no help at all, so he is bound to be overlooked even if he plays at a high level!

NFC North

Green Bay Packers (10-6)

The Packers benefit from being in the worst division in the league, because overall the Packers aren’t much of a team outside of Aaron Rodgers. It’s obvious Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but the unfortunate thing is the Packers rely on him too much, so if he ends up getting injured or if a defense is able to figure him out then the Packers are in trouble. The offensive line has never been good for most of Rodgers career and I find that amusing because I can only imagine how insane his stats would be if he had more time in the pocket to just stand there! Instead the Packers have him running for his life which means he gets hit more and this means there is more of a chance he gets injured and misses some time. When will they ever invest in a quality running back? Or how about a number one wide receiver? Don’t even get me started on their defense because the Packers defense is older than dirt! The problem with the Packers is they have no interest in improving any other aspect of this team to give Rodgers a chance. The Packers are always a threat with Rodgers and I expect them to compete this season, but could fall short of a Super Bowl because of these dumbass mistakes they could easily have fixed long ago.

Minnesota Vikings (7-9)

Any team led by Sam Bradford is for sure going to go nowhere! You will get to see a few decent wins because the Vikings do have an excellent defense, but on offense they are completely pathetic. No ground game, no threat at wide receiver, and an overrated piece of shit quarterback who is known to bust his vagina at any given moment on the field! All of this adds up to a worthless, going nowhere season for the Vikings.

Detroit Lions (4-12)

The Lions had a small window of contention which closed just about three or four years ago, now it’s back to the same old Lions. Are they going to suck or are they going to ULTRA suck? I have a feeling this could be one of those seasons where the fans bust out those paper bags they rocked back in the nineties!

Chicago Bears (2-14)

This year, the only thing the Bears will be competing for is the first pick in next years’ draft!

AFC North

Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5)

The Steelers have probably the best offense in the league when you combine Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, and LeVeon Bell. This combo is unstoppable, because you never know which one will bust out and take over the game! Over the past couple of seasons the Steelers defense has just grown old and tired, and they didn’t do much to attempt to improve it. They drafted TJ Watt, who I believe is the future of this franchise and the perfect guy to build a defense around. He had an impressive college career and has already began to make his mark in the preseason. They also picked up corner back Joe Haden, whose talent was being wasted in Cleveland and now has a shot to show the rest of the league what he can do! The Steelers are pretty stacked on offense and defense, they will be a tough to keep up with if they catch fire early!

Cincinnati Bengals (10-6)

The Bengals, to me, are an under the radar kind of team and I understand why. You never know what you’re going to get with the Bengals, but I believe this could be a good season for them. On defense they are scrappy and have all of their opponents on their toes. On offense they can keep pace with the best of them, it just depends on whether they can stay healthy or not. If this team is able to keep playing at a consistent level throughout the entire season then they will be a tough team to play against.

Baltimore Ravens (6-10)

The only thing I’m expecting from the Ravens this season is a whole lot of mediocrity! The offense is sub-par and who knows what’s going on with the defense. This team is slowly aging and they didn’t do much in free agency or the draft to take care of that problem. This is one of the toughest divisions in the league, so the Ravens already had an uphill battle as it is. With their team full of mediocre you can’t expect much other than mediocre.

Cleveland Browns (4-12)

There is never any point in analyzing the Browns because the most consistent thing the Browns have been known for is losing. Until this organization changes that I don’t bother paying much attention to anything they do.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys (12-4)

The Cowboys are coming off of a very unexpected season, so it should be interesting to see how they bounce back. They made some improvements this offseason on defense in the pass rush and secondary. Both, Orlando Scandrick and Jaylon Smith are coming off of injury and I believe will make a huge impact on the defense this season. Offensively the Cowboys should pick up right where they left off. Even in the absence of Ezekiel Elliot the Cowboys have two veteran backups, Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris, who will be able to take advantage of this great offensive line and give Prescott two more weapons to work with on offense. I don’t believe Prescott will suffer any set backs as this offense is essentially the same as last year. Defense is where the Cowboys have had the most issues and I believe will finally make an impact to help propel the Cowboys to become a legitimate playoff contender this season.

New York Giants (10-6)

The Giants are always such an unpredictable team. They made a great move this offseason by signing Brandon Marshall to give Eli yet another big play wide receiver to work alongside Odell Beckham Jr. The problem is they still have no ground game and the defense is questionable, but for some reason I still believe they will make some noise in the NFC. They will more than likely have a roller coaster season with some drastic highs and lows, but I believe that’s the way the Giants like it, they seem more motivated when they hit rock bottom midway through the season. It should be another interesting year from the Giants, you know I’m always hoping for the worst with them!

Philadelphia Eagles (9-7)

The Eagles have made some improvements to their team during the offseason, but I still don’t believe they will be good enough to make a playoff run. On offense they have a ton of weapons and this will make them a tough team to outscore, but on the defensive side of the ball they aren’t that great. They don’t have much of a pass rush and the secondary is questionable at best. If they run into a high powered offense, or even a pretty good offense it won’t be difficult for the Eagles to be outscored. The NFC East is more than likely going to end up being one of the toughest divisions in the league and I think the Eagles will end up falling short due to how competitive the division is. The Eagles will make some noise this year, but not enough to even sniff the playoffs!

Washington Redskins (4-12)

For some reason there are people who actually think this team is going to be competitive this season, but I don’t see it! On offense they’re mediocre and on defense they’re old…so what do they have going for them? Bunk ass Kirk Cousins? Sorry bout ya Redskins fans your team is going to be horrendous this season!

AFC East

New England Patriots (13-3)

The Patriots are the defending Super Bowl Champions and haven’t lost a step in the offseason! The loss of Julian Edelman sucks, but the Patriots have always been able to deal with the loss of someone due to an injury. As long as they have Tom Brady everything works out well for the Pats! It helps that the division is terrible, but even if it wasn’t the Patriots are still one of the best teams in the league and until they have proven otherwise I can’t expect anything less than another run at the Super Bowl for the Patriots.

Miami Dolphins (9-7)

The Dolphins are always on the cusp of doing something and then the season begins and they end up going nowhere. Jay Cutler is not going to make this team any better than they were prior to Ryan Tannehill’s injury, both quarterbacks are fairly mediocre and have proven next to nothing. The Dolphins have some talent and are in a weak division so they should get some garbage wins that don’t really matter, but we all know this division belongs to the Patriots until another team finally steps it up and proves otherwise.

Buffalo Bills (4-12)

Not only do the Bills have an exceptionally mediocre team, but they are also in a division with the Patriots! I’m not quite sure what the Bills have to play for this season, but then again that’s how I’ve always felt about the Bills since I was a child!

New York Jets (1-15)

I predict the Jets will be the absolute WORST team in the league this season! There isn’t one positive thing that can be said about this team, except for they will have the first pick in the draft in 2018!
