2021 NFL Season Predictions - AFC & NFC North

2021 NFL Season Predictions

NFC North

Green Bay Packers (10-7)

This drama filled offseason between Aaron Rodgers and the Packers has made it impossible for me to believe they have a legit shot at the Super Bowl this year. They are a really good team with one of the best quarterbacks in the league, one of the best receivers in the league, one of the best offensive lines in the league, a solid running back, and a good defense. The problem is the drama. When a team goes into the season with all that drama it NEVER works out! The Packers will still be a good team and I expect them to make the playoffs, but that’s about it! I think both the Packers and Aaron Rodgers look like morons after this offseason of whining like cunts and trying to prove to all of us whose dick is bigger, because they are coming off of a spectacular season that they could build off of and actually win it all, but instead they decided to have their periods all over the field and now the rest of the team get to be the tampons to attempt to stop the bleeding! I have a feeling Aaron Rodgers last season in Green Bay will be one to remember, but more than likely not for any good reasons.

Minnesota Vikings (9-8)

The Vikings are such an oddball team because you never know what to expect from them at the beginning of the season and that is once again the case with them this season! On paper they are actually a pretty good team, with some really good players. On offense they can be explosive and score a shit ton of points, but then the next game all of a sudden they don’t know how to move the ball. On defense they are stout and are able to contain some of the best offenses in the league, but then the next game they let a team they should obviously dominate, blow them up! They’ve never made sense and I don’t expect them to make much sense this year either. I imagine it’s going to be another up and down year for the Vikings filled with tons of mediocrity!

Chicago Bears (7-10)

The Bears have a lot to be excited about by drafting Justin Fields at quarterback, but unfortunately, for them that is the only thing to be excited about with this team! Right now, it’s looking like Andy Dalton is going to start the season as the starting quarterback, but that offensive line is dreadful and I imagine after a couple of games with Dalton he will be benched for Fields. The problem with this team is that outside of the quarterback position there isn’t anything else to talk about. The offense has no weapons at all for either quarterback to get the ball to, the ground game is weak, the offensive line is garbage, and the defense ain’t what it used to be! I wouldn’t be surprised if Matt Nagy ends up being the first coach fired this season because I’m not expecting much out of the Chicago Bears!

Detroit Lions (3-14)

The Lions are actual garbage so, expect a lot of dumpster fires from them this season! They actually got even worse than usual because now their quarterback is Jared Goff and that dude is an absolute joke of a quarterback so it’s going to be a hilarious season of follies from this team!

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens (11-6)

The ravens have been building a really solid foundation over the last couple of seasons and it all started with Lamar Jackson. He is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league and he makes life difficult for any opposing defense. He is a duel threat quarterback who has one hell of an arm, but can also explode for the big play on the ground. He could use some help at the receiver position because they still don’t have that big playmaker, but they do have some solid guys who can make big plays when necessary. The defense is still stacked and the pass rush ain’t nothing to mess with, but behind them is a stout secondary of ball hawks. The Ravens are a complete team at every level and I expect them to be a dominant force this season.

Cleveland Browns (10-7)

It’s a really weird feeling for me right now going into this season because I actually believe the Browns are going to be a good team! They have been building a solid squad for the past couple of seasons and it has really paid off. They are stacked on offense with a top notch receiving corps, a solid ground game, a solid offensive line, a decent quarterback, and they made a couple of nice additions on the defensive side of the ball to make them a threat this season. Offensively this team is going to be really difficult to stop because they have a lot of ways to beat you on defense. They have speedy receivers and speedy running backs so, they can score at will and should be able to keep up with any team that they may end up in a scoring shootout with. For once, I think Browns are going to be a good team and should remain competitive through the postseason!

Pittsburgh Steelers (8-9)

The Steelers didn’t do much to improve this team in the offseason. They did draft the running back, Najee Harris, who should give them a nice upgrade at that position, but other than that I don’t really see much else going on. Ben Roethlisberger looks really solid and healthy coming into the season, but will he be able to maintain it for 17 games and a possible postseason run? I question that especially behind their weak offensive line and he doesn’t have a top receiver to throw to either. The receivers are not bad, but they just aren’t guys who are going to give you consistent play game in and game out. They lost a couple of linebackers on the defensive side which may be a problem if they run into any injuries there isn’t much depth at the position, which could be a problem. Overall, I don’t think the Steelers are that great of a team and are probably going to have their struggles, especially on offense.

Cincinnati Bengals (5-12)

Joe Burrow looks like he is going to give the Bengals something to cheer about, but I doubt that’s going to happen this season. Outside of Burrow the offense is weak, the offensive line is garbage which is why Burrow tore his ACL last year, and do they even have a defense?! The Bengals are trash and won’t have much to look forward to this season, except for yet another high draft pick next year!

2021 NFL Season Predictions - AFC & NFC East

2021 NFL Season Predictions

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys (11-6)

This was such a nice and quiet offseason for the Cowboys, for once. There wasn’t a contract dispute, drama between players and coaches, or really anything other than the team getting ready to play some football. Dak is coming back from the horrifying ankle injury last season and he looks like he is ready to go! We have yet to see him take a snap in the preseason due to some precautions with his shoulder, but that’s not really a big deal in my eyes since a lot of starting players don’t usually play a lot, if at all, during the preseason these days. The Cowboys offense is stacked with talent, especially at the receiver position, led by CeeDee Lamb. I think everyone is sleeping on Zeke too. He has one down year and all of a sudden he’s shit now?! The big question mark for the Cowboys is going to be the defense. I love the first round draft pick Micah Parsons at linebacker! That dude is a beast and has been all over the field during the preseason and he may be a rookie of the year candidate, and may also be exactly what the Cowboys need to kick this defense into shape and give them the edge they have been lacking over the years!

Washington Stupid Fucks (9-8)

Well, it looks like I’m going into season number two of the team name I have chosen for the Redskins, which is the Stupid Fucks! This team really needs to get a real name besides “Football Team” and until they do, I will continue to refer to them as the “Stupid Fucks!” On defense I’m expecting them to be one of the top pass rushing teams in the league with Chase Young making a strong case for defensive player of the year. Young had an amazing season last year and I expect him to become a nightmare this year! On the offensive side of the ball things are a lot less thrilling. They brought in the King of journey-men quarterbacks, Ryan Fitzpatrick, who isn’t the worst quarterback in the World, but when you bring him in that means you don’t have a franchise quarterback and you need him to fill in while you find them. He makes big play and the players on the team seem to like him so, he should get them a few big wins, but in the end I don’t expect the Stupid Fucks to be much of a threat this season.

New York Giants (7-10)

The VaGiants have got to be the most boring team coming into this season. Daniel Jones has had his moments of potential, but other than that there really isn’t anything special about the dude and who knows what to expect from Saquon Barkley this season coming off of his knee injury. He is by far one of the most talented backs in the league, but you never know what is going to happen with a knee injury to a running back. Even so, if Barkely was coming into the season healthy this team is not impressive on offense or defense outside of him. I’m expecting a whole lot of mediocrity out of this team.

Philadelphia Eagles (4-13)

The Eagles are going to be one of the most pathetic teams this season. They have no direction at all and this new coach of theirs, Nick Sirianni, sounds like a total idiot anytime he is asked a question from the media. I know, a coach is supposed to be vague with the media and the questions they ask, but he literally sounds like he has no idea what is going on when he speaks. I really have no idea how he ended up getting this job, but he sounds like he is going to fit right in with this loser organization.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills (13-4)

The Bills are coming off of a spectacular season last year and I expect that they will build off of that and become one of the most dominant teams in the league this year. Josh Allen has progressively become a much better quarterback every year he’s been in the league, and last season he lit it up so, this year I’m expecting him to be an MVP candidate. Stefon Diggs added a whole other element to this offense as well. The only question on offense will be their ground game, which was a problem last year due to injuries. The defense is pretty solid too, but I’m expecting the offense to carry this team. The Bills should not only dominate their Division, but I also expect them to dominate the league and make a deep playoff run.

Miami Dolphins (9-8)

There really isn’t much to say about the Dolphins for this upcoming season. I know, a lot of people are waiting on Tua to have some spectacular season, and the jury is still out on how his game is going to transfer over to the NFL, but my expectations for him were low coming in. Outside of Tua, there really isn’t much else to say about this team because I expect them to be a fairly mediocre team. They may have a couple of surprise upset wins, but I wouldn’t expect to see this team making any waves in the postseason.

New England Patriots (8-9)

Well, this is the second season in a row that the Patriots are coming in with a lot of uncertainty at the quarterback position. Cam Newton is a shell of his former self ever since he had the multiple shoulder surgeries a few seasons ago. He has no zip on the ball and all he has going for him these days is that he can run. They also drafted Mac Jones out of Alabama, who I never had high hopes for to begin with because he was surrounded by great coaches and players at Alabama and we really have no idea how this dude is going to look under pressure, since there was no pressure for him at Alabama. Beyond the quarterback position the Patriots look stale as ever. No top receivers, mediocre running backs, and the defense is aging. The Patriots have lost all of their mystique they once had and at this rate it looks like it’s going to take awhile to get that back!

New York Jets (4-13)

The only expectations that I have for the Jets this season is that they are going to be awful! They have a rookie quarterback, absolutely no weapons on the offensive side of the ball, and the defense is the nobody squad. I guess at least the rookie quarterback, Zach Wilson, is attractive because I imagine he will be getting a lot of coverage from the press this season, not because of the good looks though, but because of the shitty play on the field.

NBA Finals Prediction

Phoenix Suns Vs Milwaukee Bucks

For the first time in ten years we will not see either LeBron James or Steph Curry playing in the NBA Finals! So, if you are one of those fans who has been annoyed with that trend for the past decade then you should be happy with this matchup because it is something different! It’s not that shocking to see the Suns here because they have been the most dominant team throughout this entire season. They dominated the regular season and have dominated the postseason because they are the best team in the league this year. The Suns have great chemistry on the court and have yet to really struggle this postseason. Even without Chris Paul they still were able to keep playing at the exact same pace and didn’t miss a step while he was out. The Suns are a complete team from top to bottom and don’t have much of a weakness that you can easily exploit. The Bucks, on the other hand, are such a weird team. I’m not even quite sure how they got here because they are the exact opposite of the Suns! Giannis is up and down every game and you really never know what you’re going to get with him. Even when they are up big, all of a sudden it becomes a two to three point lead and then they’re struggling to eek out a win. The Bucks are way too inconsistent for me to believe they have a shot in this matchup. I believe the Suns are way too good to not walk away with this Championship…easily!
