NFC North
Green Bay Packers
(10-6) Unlike most of the
sports analysts, I am not convinced the Packers are that great of a team. I
know they have Aaron Rodgers and he can elevate any offense, but I don’t know
about the rest of this team. On defense they’re pretty damn old and not getting
any younger and weren’t even that good to begin with. On the offensive side of
the ball Jordy Nelson is coming back from a major injury and the ground game is
suspect. With all that said I still have them winning their division, I just
don’t think the Packers will be as dominant as most people think.
Minnesota Vikings
(7-9) The injury to the
Vikings starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater changes their entire season! I
actually had them going to the Playoffs before the injury, but now that he won’t
play a down this season they are left with absolute shit at quarterback! Adrian
Peterson and their defense will help get a few wins, but overall this team will
have no offense beyond Peterson and that will be a major problem. Sorry Vikings
maybe next year, I know that’s a phrase that you are all too familiar with.
Detroit Lions
(3-13) I hope Lions fans have enjoyed the past couple of
seasons of semi decent competitive play from their team because they won’t even
come close to that this season. I have a feeling this season is when the Lions
go back to being one of the worst teams in the league. Even if Calvin Johnson
didn’t retire this team was going nowhere fast so don’t try to blame it on that
Lions fans! This roster is full of absolute trash too, it should be a fun year
of follies when you watch a Lions game this season!
Chicago Bears
(2-14) The Bears are going to be one of the absolute
worst teams this season! They have absolutely nothing going for them and we all
know that Jay Cutler sucks! It’s going to be a long season if you are a Bears
fan!
AFC North
Pittsburgh
Steelers (12-4) I think the
Steelers will be one of the most dominant teams in the league this season. On
offense they are lights out and have a lot of depth, so if someone gets injured
(or suspended) the next man can step up in his place and actually be
productive. I also think Ben Roethlisberger is going to have an MVP type of a
season, he has always been a good player and over the years has only become a
better quarterback and I think this is the year he takes over and absolutely
dominates the league. Their defense is still very questionable, but with what
they have going on with the offense I don’t think that will matter as much
since they will out score everyone! The Steelers love to go for the two point
conversion as opposed to the field goal, which I believe is a huge advantage if
executed correctly. The Steelers look to be a team poised to make a Super Bowl
run this season!
Cincinnati Bengals
(10-6) The Bengals are a
team that can be really, really good if they can keep their mind right. They
have a few loose cannons on defense who cost them big last season, but I think
they can take that lesson and learn from it and build with it. The offense is
unstoppable when AJ Green and Andy Dalton are completely in sync, they can run
up the score against anyone. On defense is where they play some of their best
football though. They play tough old school football, get after the quarterback
and cause some chaos in the backfield. Then they have the secondary behind to
clean up if any errant passes come their way. This should be a fun team to
watch, but we’ll see what happens with them when the post season comes around.
Baltimore Ravens
(8-8) The
Ravens didn’t do a damn thing to improve upon their team this offseason. The offense will be mediocre, the defense will
be even worse and I expect the Ravens to be a garbage ass team this year. No
need for any analysis outside of that. If you go take a look at their roster
you will agree with me because you won’t be able to figure out who the majority
of the players are on this team!
Cleveland Browns
(4-12) The Browns are the
Browns. There is nothing that can really be said about them other than they
suck! I’m sure the Browns will be participating in the annual ritual of wasting
their top 5 pick in the 2017 NFL draft!
