NBA Conference Semi-Finals Playoff Predictions

First Round Record: (5-3)

NBA Conference Semi-Finals Playoff Predictions

Western Conference

Utah Jazz Vs Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers are not an impressive team on any level this season. They do not mesh together well on the court and it shows. They barely got by the Mavericks in the first round and that only happened because the Mavericks don’t have anybody else besides Doncic. Kawhi has been solid in the playoffs like he usually is, but the rest of the team has no idea what is going on. The Jazz have been one of the most dominant teams in the league and are going to be a tough test for the Clippers because they do not matchup well in the paint, and they have absolutely no one who can go up against Rudy Gobert. I really don’t think this is going to be much of a series because the Clippers are not a good team and the Jazz are rolling right now, and it’s going to take a much better opponent to knock them out at this point. The Clippers are always a let down come playoff time and I don’t see that changing this year!

Phoenix Suns Vs Denver Nuggets

The Suns are on a tear this season and any team that faces them up to this point better bring all that they’ve got to this series because the Suns ain’t playing around! Chris Paul has been a great leader on the court, but Devin Booker is on fire and is pretty much unstoppable at this point. Denver played a solid series in the first round and Nikola Jokic played great, but you didn’t hear much about it because he plays for the Nuggets! Jokic is going to be a tough test for the Suns because they don’t have anybody who matches up well against him, but if they are able to prevent the rest of the Nuggets from scoring, then I believe the Nuggets will have problems trying to keep on offense. Right now, the Suns are playing the best basketball in the league because they are cohesive on the court and don’t have as many issues with injuries like the rest of the league, but even so, this team is legit and are going to be a tough opponent for the Nuggets in this series. I believe the Suns have the edge in this matchup because offensively they will be too much for the Nuggets. The Sun are a deep squad with a lot of talent and Devin Booker is peaking at the right time for a deep playoff run!

Eastern Conference

Philadelphia 76ers Vs Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks put up a good fight against the Knicks, but the 76ers will be a different kind of a beast in this round! Trae Young is a baller for sure and is the future of the league, but Joel Embiid is the here and now, and he has had a phenomenal season. He did suffer a knee injury in the first round, but it sounds like this shouldn’t sideline him for long. Even if he does miss a game or, even the entire series, the 76ers have a bunch of talent on this team and are stacked from top to bottom and should have no problem moving onto the Conference Finals!

Brooklyn Nets Vs Milwaukee Bucks

This right here is going to be one hell of a matchup and I am so looking forward to it! Neither team was really put to the test in the first round and breezed on by, but it will be a different story this time around. These two teams are polar opposites of each other. The Nets are all about offense with three of the most versatile scorers in the league with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden. While the Bucks are driven by defense and taking care of business in the paint. Everybody is riding high on the Nets right now because of the offensive firepower, but it’s going to be interesting to see how they handle the physicality of the Bucks for an entire series. They have nobody who matches up well against Giannis and the Bucks have enough going on offensively where they should be able to keep up at a steady pace, while also getting some stops on the defensive end. This is going to be a close series, but I believe the Bucks have the edge in this one because of their defense.
